We have two cats. One throws up her food almost every time she eats. The other likes to chew on the most expensive charging cords and headphones we own. The last thing I wanted was another pet to care for, but the kids begged for a dog after we encountered the cutest little thing at, of all places, a puppy mill in the local mall.
We compromised and got fish. But then I remembered that you have to feed fish, clean tanks, keep them alive, and figure out what the heck even goes in an aquarium. Good news for wannabe fish owners – BiOrb makes it a little easier.
We reviewed the BiOrb FLOW 30 with LED, a compact desktop aquarium that is as functional as it is attractive! First, tit’s super easy to set up and the maintenance is far easier than I expected (and simpler than what I remember ‘back in the day’).
My mom purchased an aquarium at a pet store just before we received ours. She’s replaced her fish twice or more; we’ve had the same fish for a few weeks now and I’ve tested the water several time – it’s still perfect! That says a lot since our family has never had fish.
Here’s what I love about our new aquarium, though – it comes with nearly everything you need right in the box. Minus the fish and food, of course. Our BiOrb FLOW 30 is an 8-gallon lightweight acrylic aquarium and includes and unique 5-stage filtration system so that your fish survive in a low maintenance, healthy environment!
We have both! We have a fat guppy named Elvis, a few of his friends yet to be named, and a shrimp named Gaston… because what else WOULD you name a shrimp?
You can even customize your tank with a selection of fish tank accessories that you’ll love, but that your kids will veto and make you choose something else. Or so I’ve heard.
Thanks to our awesome friends at Apollo Box and BiOrb for providing us with our BiOrb FLOW 30 with LED and aquarium accessory!
