Being a mom is stressful. Yes, it is highly rewarding, fulfilling and amazing, but ask any mom and she’ll tell you that a little mom-time is always necessary. It’s nice to have a little escape; dad has his garage, shed or basement but mom needs her escape, too. Mom needs her Mom Cave. Whether your ideal sanctuary is a quiet place to curl up with a good back and a glass of wine or it’s a sleek leather sofa in front of a massive big screen television, La-Z-Boy has comfortable, stylish and customized design inspiration for your Mom Cave.
La-Z-Boy has always been an iconic brand, the definitive for comfort, style and quality. They feature a wide selection of great-looking, up-to-date, customizable furniture that goes way beyond the forever-loved recliner. They’ve even recruited well-known actress Brooke Shields for their “Live life comfortably” campaign. The popularity of that campaign has given the company an increase in sales and after visiting their stores, it’s not hard to see why.
La-Z-Boy furniture goes beyond recliners, sofas, sectionals, love seats and more. It was fun visiting our La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries location to see all of the fun options and items that aren’t even listed online. It was really helpful seeing example living areas set up because it gave me an idea of furniture arrangements, accents and other items that can bring a room – or Mom Cave – together. For those who need more inspiration and guidance, La-Z-Boy stores also offer free In-Home Design Assistance from professionals experienced at helping turn design dreams into reality. La-Z-Boy designers will also visit customer’s homes to help them with their design project and advise on styles that will fit comfortably into their home and budget.
While I didn’t get assistance when I visited, I chose to roam the store taking photos of some of my favorite pieces; ones I could see bringing into my home to create my Mom Cave. Because my house is smaller, mine would need space saving, multi-purpose options like the cute little table with marble top and wine storage or this media table with multiple places for storage.
