There are many blogs I enjoy following on a regular basis. Some because they feature great reviews, some feature great giveaways, most because of the personal stories they share, and many because their blogs are well-written and enjoyable.
Why her blog is fabulous: Natural Mommie’s tagline is “Turning mommies from eco-weak to eco-chic one fabulous find at a time!” I love this; it makes living green sound so classy and fun! For anyone that’s attempted to “go green” in their life, Natural Mommie proves that it doesn’t have to be all Tofurkey® and hemp. Natural Mommie often features reviews and giveaways of some of the most amazing, adorable, whimsical and practical things that, guess what, just happen to be eco-friendly. The first thing I noticed is the design. It’s actually calming to be on her site, it is that aesthetically pleasing.
Why her blog is fabulous: Dear Crissy is another well-designed, aesthetically pleasing blog. She has so much information on her blog, but it’s easy to find, well organized, and I swear I end up on her site for one reason or another at least twice per week. If blogging were real life, I would be sitting in front yard in a lawn chair with a sign that read “You’re awesome!” This is why, I am guessing, she has a ginormous following. She has some great giveaways, too.
Kylee at Two Pretzels
Why her blog is fabulous: Kylee’s blog is a fantastic mix of funny stories and amusing thoughts, and she provides a fun look at her journey into motherhood after years of trying to get pregnant. She does a fantastic job of not only entertaining her readers, but including them, as well. She’s even featured a poll where her readers guessed her daughter’s birth stats before she was born, and winner got to name a charity to which a donation was made in their name. Awesome. Her blog is like watching that favorite sitcom family and wishing you were a part of it.
Why she is fabulous: Kylee lives a blessed life in Mexico with her adorable little girl, her adorable husband, and another daughter born just yesterday! She is a fantastic woman and was once a great mentor to me “back in the day” when she was stateside. I know a couple of women who have read her blog and commented to me how they’d love to be just like her. I don’t blame them. She is a truly amazing person a wonderful friend.
Adam at DaDa Rocks
Why his blog is fabulous: I won’t lie. When I think of a daddy blog, I’d have assumed fumbling around a blog that included complaints about forced diaper changes and a difficult wife, accompanied by only technology and beer reviews. Adam’s blog, however, has every kind of parental subject – from baby showers to movies to video games to parenting advice. I love it. I love that you don’t have to be a dad to read it and as a mom, you don’t feel like you’ve stepped into the wrong poker game.
Why he is fabulous: I was introduced to DaDa Rocks through a series of late-night tweets and friend-of-a-friend connections when he had posted one of his awesome giveaways. He’s fun, he’s funny, and seems like a very down-to-earth, great dad. Not to mention he’s a blogging dad in what seems to be a world of blogging moms. Props!
Amy at Resourceful Mommy
Why her blog is fabulous: Amy has created a brand in Resourceful Mommy. Resourceful Mommy is just that – a spectacular resource! Useful articles, reviews and giveaways, both of the most popular and well-known brands and ones you didn’t know you couldn’t live without. She also hosts the best and most popular Twitter parties this side of ANYTHING! I wish I could relay to you how much I have learned from her blog, and what amazing information she provides. Think of her as the Yoda to your Luke Skywalker.
Why she is fabulous: Amy hosted one of the first Twitter parties I attended, she was one of the first blogs that inspired me to create my own, and a it’s a blog that I return to on a regular basis. She is helpful, she has great advice, and I’ve recommended her services several times to multiple companies. She has an amazing work ethic, she’s dedicated to her brand, and she’s one of the truly great people in the blogiverse. She’s definitely one you should be following, if you’re not already.
The greatest thing you can do as a blogger, especially as one that follows other blogs, is to try to find as many new-to-you blogs as you can. If you like their content, let them know. Vote for them, rate them, write a review about them. Bloggers thrive on referrals and word-of-mouth and are able to post fantastic reviews and giveaways because of their readers! And these five bloggers are just a few on my list of really great bloggers!
Don’t forget to enter the 50 Fabulous Wishes contest for a chance to win $1,000 to support a friend’s wish. I was selected for this Tropicana Trop50 sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do. I received compensation to use and facilitate my post.
