Nerds, unite and celebrate! It seems that with the popularity of all things comic book – thanks to Marvel – ComiCon, and gaming, being ‘nerd’ is cool. Geeks are sexy and nerds are cool so, of course, there’s a subscription box just for us. And our nerdy kids.
I received these items to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.
Nerd Block is a monthly subscription gift service that delivers an awesome box filled with mystery nerd products. They’re delivered right to your door filled with nerd-friendly apparel, toys, and collectibles! Every Nerd Block comes with a custom t-shirt in a size you choose and 4-6 epic items for you drool your nerd spit all over. Or post on social media to brag about to your nerd friends.
Now, Nerd Block has Nerd Block Jr. so that even the youngest nerds get to indulge. Nerd Block is filled with toys and collectibles from your favorite brands including Star Wars, Adventure Time, Doctor Who, Marvel, and many more! There are several subscription options from which to choose, including Classic, Jr. for Boys, Jr. for Girls, Horror and Arcade. Right now, you’re thinking of 8 different people that would nerdgasm over these boxes, aren’t you?
Nerd Blocks range in price from $13.99 to $19.99 a month, plus shipping. You can end your subscription anytime you’d like, though we’re sure that the suspense of what could be in the next nerd goodie-filled box is enough to keep you coming back for more. In fact, I have my finger over the ‘purchase now’ button this very moment. My kids loved the Jr. boxes, though the contents were a little ‘young’ for my teen, so we’d likely spring for the Classic box for him. Or, you know, tell him his got lost in the mail and keep it for ourselves. It’s just good parenting, folks.
As of now, they don’t accept Paypal nor do they have referral credits which are two things I LOVE in a subscription service, but it is more unique than many of the others that are available. There are tons of beauty, fashion and kids toys subscription services, but this one hits the pop culture references right on head. I love them – they’re quite fun, relatively affordable and makes a great surprise in the mail each week. Far better than a stack of bills, nerd or otherwise.
