I know very little about soccer. Maybe enough to follow a game, but not enough to coach a team, even a team of littles. When my daughter decided she wanted to play soccer at age 5, I figured I was screwed. It’s not that hard to kick a ball, but to kick it correctly? With me on the sidelines, she has no hope of becoming the next Hope Solo.
When we were offered the chance to review The SOCKIT, I figured it couldn’t hurt, right? It has to be better than I am at teaching her how to kick a soccer ball the right way.
I received The SOCKIT free to facilitate my review, though all opinions are my own and were not influenced.
The SOCKIT is a light-up device that helps improve your soccer game so you can level up on form, power, and technique. It’s tough to put on, but simple to understand – just kick the ball the right way and it lights up, giving you instant feedback.
This is actually great because, especially with kids, they love instant feedback and – let’s be honest – anything that lights up. The know immediately if they’re doing what they’re supposed to.
The SOCKIT is designed for players 5-12 years old. It helps eliminate self-doubt which gives kids confidence in their game. We don’t have to watch every shot to know that they’re doing it how their coach told them to do. If they’re kicking the ball the right way, and have The SOCKIT on, they know immediately!
The SOCKIT is made from industrial strength thermal plastic rubber and is able to withstand shock, impact, and other extreme conditions. This means it can withstand multiple kicks. It has 6 LEDs powered with a replaceable lithium battery and is one size fits all. It also comes in 4 colors and retails for $19.95.
Thanks to our friends at SOCKIT, we’re giving one lucky As Mom Sees It reader a SOCKIT of their own in SMASHING Yellow!
