About our review board

Being a parent is much like being a doctor – their business is their ‘practice.’ Parenting is a constant trial-and-error, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants adventure. Parenting as a single mom is all that, but with the occasional glass of wine (or two) and double the responsibility, patience, tears and laughter.

I’ve partnered with amazing brands, I’ve represented companies at some pretty cool events, and I’ve even helped a brand organize a successful product launch party and ambassador program. I’m not one to toot my own horn but I do work hard at having fun and man, do we have fun with this blog.

The Kids

Ella

Ella is my little princess. She loves to get into things, climb things, and is often sent home from daycare with an incident report because she likes to dance on tables. I’m hoping this isn’t a sign of things to come!

She is the toughest critic on our review board.

Every day is an adventure and a step closer to us having to pay for a really expensive wedding.

Garrett

Garrett is my curious, intelligent 12-year-old going on 30. He’s pretty easy to please, as long as it has to do with video games, comic books and sci-fi.

Most of the time, this preteen has our house filled with the scent of mail-sample cologne and whatever lotions and hair products he can get his hands on.

Being a single mom of two is challenging, but creates unmatched memories.

The Blog

As Mom Sees It is a quickly growing review and family-matters blog that focuses on products for families and their personal and household needs. We are excited to review family-friendly products to provide our readers with insight into new or useful products and provide companies with a unique perspective from the people who use them every day.

As Mom Sees It has already grown in followers and subscribers and the numbers continue to grow steadily. We have over 9,800 Twitter followers, and over 11,700 Facebook followers, and have worked with amazing companies such as Maclaren, Sears, Disney/Dreamworks, Logitech, Kingston and countless others. I was also one of 15 bloggers selected to work with Nike. We were flown to their HQ in Beaverton, OR, and learned about their product development processes while touring their facilities. I’ve also partnered with Highlights Magazine to assist in a product release event as well as an ambassador program.
