Has anyone seen spring? I’ve been looking for it, but it’s been really difficult to find. I thought it was here the other day because we had our windows open and the heat off, but by the next day, there was snow on the ground and freezing temperatures. Darn it, we were *this close*. I think I might follow the advice of Walt Disney: “If you can dream it, you can do it.” I’m dreaming of spring and dressing the part with these fun new handbags and shoes from Naturalizer.
I am so thrilled to be heading to L.A. with Disney for the premier of their new movie starring Jon Hamm, Million Dollar Arm. The film is about a sports agent who uses unconventional recruitment strategies to bring super talented cricket players to play Major League Baseball in an attempt to save his career. Maybe you’d like to join me? Check out this amazing Disney sweepstakes!
In celebration of the movie’s release, Disney is offering nine people the opportunity to attend the World Premiere of Disney’s Million Dollar Arm, where they will each have three chances to make one 100 mph (or faster) strike for a $1 Million prize!
The Rabbids Invasion has begun and just in time for the Easter holiday you can deliver the Easter Bunny on a more funny note. These crazy rabbits are not just for Easter and will make great gifts anytime of the year. Both of my kids – ages 3 and 14 – love Rabbids and there aren’t many shows that appeal to both of them. I’ll admit, I’ll even watch it with them.
These funny friends have lept off the screen and into the hearts of children and adults alike and you have a chance to win a Rabbids Invasion Prize Pack below.
Normally, I would tell you that spending a Saturday staring at roofing shingles and bathroom faucets would be the last place I would hope to find myself. However, when those shingles are the same color as the ones that will be on the roof of my dream home and the faucets are likely the same ones that will be in the bathrooms of my dream home, then it’s a whole different Saturday.
Spring cleaning – those among my favorite words. Each year, we get to purge unwanted items and clutter and we get to open our windows and breathe in the fresh air. It’s a season of starting anew and out with the old and for many of us, that includes our beauty and cosmetic bags.
Admit it – we all do it; a bag chock full of eyeshadows we never use, an eye liner from two years ago, a bright pink lipstick we bought for a Halloween party and mascara that has more clumps cheap cake batter. Spring makeup and beauty products give us a chance to update our colors and our routine and it doesn’t have to cost us an arm and a leg to do so. You can stop at your local Rite Aid to find fun new products that you’ll love so much, you won’t mind tossing those old lipsticks at the bottom of your cosmetic bag that look as though they’ve been chewed on during a hunger strike.
